例年フィリピン共和国の独立記念日を祝って6月に開催されるフィリピンエキスポですが、去年と同じように、

新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響で、6月の開催ができないことになりましたので、

今年も10月に新小岩公園で開催することになりました。

日程は10月8日～10日の3日間です。

今年は、コロナ後に多くの日本人がフィリピンを訪れて、その魅力を堪能してもらうために、

その自然や文化のすばらしさを多くの方々に知ってもらえるようなイベントを目指しています。

It has been customary for Filipinos in Tokyo to commemorate the Philippine Independence

Day every June 12 by organizing a festivity, “Philippine Expo,” which is considered as the biggest

celebration and gathering of the Filipino community in Japan.

This year, the event was supposed to be held on June 11-13 at Ueno Onshi Park Tokyo, Japan. However,

due to the recent pandemic brought by COVID-19, the committee made some adjustments to assure the

goers of their safety and security.

We will hold the festivity on October 8-10, 2021 at the Shin-Koiwa Park, about 3 minutes on foot from

JR Shin Koiwa Station, instead of the previous location at Ueno Park. The event will also be renamed to

“Philippine Expo 2021 Tokyo.” The committee will implement all the precautionary measures to

keep all the attendees safe while enjoying the event.

showcase traditional parades; a three-day cultural/entertainment program on stage; and street booths

offering Philippine food, services, and products.
